Mill City Sound was founded with a simple goal: to give the southwestern metro area a great neighborhood record store – the kind of place that feels good to hang around, where people talk music all day long. But something happened that we didn’t expect. Our passion for vinyl has made us a mecca for music lovers.

Along with a catalog that attracts buyers from around the country, we offer music fans the electric thrill of discovering that rare LP, hidden in the bins, waiting just for you.
We are continuously buying amazing record collections and adding them to our already huge used vinyl area. And as far as fresh pressings go, we stock not only the best new releases, we also have one of the area’s largest vinyl back catalogs.
